Eg Lel̄ åcÿ (/lell/ /ɑːˈci/ [sorry] [description]) is a subtropical Small Town located in the Zophtevub̄ Provence of the Kingdom of Hobben.

The name Eg Lel̄ åcÿ is derived from the Dwarven language, as Eg Lel̄ åcÿ was founded by Fyèdsepí Zehndtubckexu, who was culturaly Dwarvern.

Climate

Eg Lel̄ åcÿ was founded durring the early 15th century in spring of the year 1422, by Fyèdsepí Zehndtubckexu. The establishment of the new community went well, with no major obsticles durring construction.

Eg Lel̄ åcÿ was built using the conventions of Dwarvern durring the early 15th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Eg Lel̄ åcÿ is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Eg Lel̄ åcÿ is buildings are arranged within a network of restrictive flagstone streets which form a rectangular grid, where each block verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller block has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. Unfortuantly, these would-be-castle fortifications are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.

The town shows nothing out of the ordinary, at first glance. Then you start to notice all the small things. Each window has seven iron nails pounded into the sill. Every door has a sprig of holly overhead. Every well is branded with purity seals and runes to ward the contents. Everyone is carrying a small charm for safety or fortune, be it a rabbit’s foot, a horseshoe, or other little totems.

Eg Lel̄ åcÿ's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by their massive, monolithic and 'blocky' appearance with a rigid geometric style. It was best known for its rough, unfinished surfaces, unusual shapes, heavy-looking materials, straight lines, and small windows. Modular elements were often used to form masses representing specific functional zones, grouped into a unified whole.

Eg Lel̄ åcÿ used to be more prosperous, but something happened relatively long ago that left it a shrunken shadow of its former self. If the settlement is prosperous, the locals often lament how much more they could have had. If the settlement is not prosperous, the locals blame their ill fortunes on that event. Reminders of this better time can be found in many places within Eg Lel̄ åcÿ.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century, Eg Lel̄ åcÿ was attacked by a group of nobles with their private armies. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Eg Lel̄ åcÿ lost 170 people, 224 livestock, and 74 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 108, when members of Eg Lel̄ åcÿ's militia enacted an operation to transport a specific warchest to a particular mine unharmed. The operation was complicated by a natural disaster interrupted the operation, shattering unit cohesion. The conflict ended with pitched battle between both forces, which ended in defeat for Eg Lel̄ åcÿ's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Eg Lel̄ åcÿ's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
